but seriously, i dont think its a bad thing having separate hobby's and interests. if it gets to a point when she says its me or the music thats a tough one. she'd have to be seriously good in bed to stop me being into music!

your point is only valid if she's gonna go shopping when were supposed to spend time together, it's all about planning your time together.

early off in our relationship i did a bunch of crazy shit like drinking 24/7, going to jail, beating people up, sleeping with other chicks... etc

we're married now, so now that i'm calmed down, don't drink, stay at home all the time... ignoring her for a whole day to work on a beat doesn't seem too bad.

the formula is quite simple... do a lot of crazy shit, and then the stuff you do later on to piss her off doesn't seem so bad in comparison

Planning time together is key IF and only IF you live a lifestyle where you're apart a lot. I work from home, long hours, and sit at the computer all day. I also have a hobby which means I sit at the same computer so to my girlfriend it seems as if I spend my life there and in all fairness I do.

... But I can't even leave the house without having to have a laptop and access to the Internet because I deal with high traffic web sites, and applications, if a server gets overloaded, or there are server errors, DDoS attacks etc boom goes my income. So I have a very valid reason to be one of those people that has to make time for my hobby and my girlfriend. Thankfully she is more understanding than most as I said in my earlier thread.

I just wanted to clear that up, that planning time is not a flaw in your relationship. For some people it's a must.
