people download FL Studio to be cool and have no business producing. Everyone has the right to make music and express themselves if thats why they are doing it. But even that stupid stereo separation in FL can be done with reverb, delay and/or chorus but you have to have a clue. :z:

it can also be done by duplicating the track and panning one to the left and one to the right and timing one of them just a little bit off. And I didn't download FL Studio to be cool, i did it because its a whole lot better than the other DAW's Ive used in the past (Sony ACID Music Studio 7.0 and SonicProducer.com) i have business producing :z:

This is literally THE dimensional expander from the massive plugin and it's free.

I never liked the sound of Massive's dimension designer, doin' that sample delay thing.

I find myself just using Logic's stereo spreader to taste. I dunno.

So just a FYI the dimensional expander is a short delay with no feedback with the left side of the wet delay has an invertwd phase. The size changes the time of the delay any where from about 3 ms to about 100 ms. It works particular well giving stereo depth to bass because If it is summed to mono the effect will cancel it self and not phase the dry signal at all. There for if you can't hear phasing in stereo your good, you don't have to do a mono phase check. I have a combinator patch for Reason for any one interested.

There's a free one made by Xfer Records that uses the same algorithm as the one in Massive, but it's in a separate plugin. It comes for osx and windows. Here's the link: http://www.xferrecords.com/freeware/

I thought Steve Duda released a free plug in that was literally the exact dimension expander from massive? Correct me if I'm wrong, but I am like 99% sure I've seen that

steve duda does have an exact replica. I believe he was the one that broke down the engineering on it which inspired my Reason patch.
