thing is, even though your basslines might be centered around 50hz a sub lets you feel those frequencies more, and for dubstep, the physicality of a tune is a big factor in getting a crowd lively (i'd imagine matty g has a sub or just huge fecking monitors for example) .
hm very true, maybe I should consider this bundle as well

got the tannoy reveals (non actives) which are great for the price but are coloured quite a bit, this became evident when i was mixing a tune down at my brothers who has got some cold as feck Alesis speakers, i was shocked at how hard we had to work to get a tune sounding nice, but this was rewarded after playing on many different speakers, the mixdown sounded great

I want to buy soon monitor speakers, I am not sure which of both are better maybe someone could speak from his experience and can give me a tip. the speaker I want to buy are the Genelec 1029APM or the Event 20 20 bas. Both have a simular price but the Event has a deeper frequency. I heard Genelecs make good monitors. On the other hand I read a lot that the Event 20 20 bas are standard studio monitors in the music buisness. So anyone can tell me his experience about the both monitors.
