Music is like poker. It's not what you hold, it's how you play it.

You sir, are wrong.

That guy didn't seem anything special to me at all, there are tons of beatboxers with far more impressive arsenals than that.

EDIT: Dharni is a legend too

Sorry - but the two you posted are only doing stuff I have heard a million times as well. The difference between Kenny and the rest is not that he has done something that has never been heard before - but the fact that he does it much better.

Dharni is ok - but a bit sloppy and would be much better if he didn't have one of his boys adding extra shit offcamera.

EDIT: also - there are two things Kenny has that many aspiring beatboxers don't have... 1) as mentioned before, the ability to be clean. it is one thing to make cool noises, it is another to have total mastery over ones craft. and 2) the ability to have a groove that makes you feel it. kinda like a lot of the brosteppin dubsteppers (as well as a lot of turntablists), many cats are too concerned with how many tricks they can pull in a minute rather than having the ability to make those tricks sound amazing. in my opinion... cats like kenny or rahzel are the ones who know how to maintain that balance.

Amateur Brostep is a whole subgenre with that very same concept, only use brutal Electro preset from massive!
Fixed.

Rahzel is the master but I still aint feeling kenny. His stuff doesn't sound clean to me at all, it's messy and boring.

EDIT: And Reeps One is still the best ;)

Ah well - I'm content to agree to disagree.
