played bass but in a hc/punk band so i never bothered with actually being able to play good. i have a good sense of rhythm though, something which confusingly many bassists i knew back then lacked.

i also played kalimba as a kid, it was cool because you play it like a gamepad

edit: sometimes i still play bass, but plugged into my laptop via the internal soundcard and with so many fx on the channel that i have a latency of like a second so the only thing i play is drone-y doomgaze stuff
kinda like this

bass guitar -> DISTORT THE FUCK OUT OF IT -> send to different channels with fun stuff like graindelays and lots of verb, add a drumloop, zone out for hours on end

I've met waaayyy too many bass players who couldn't keep a rhythm the most underrated part of the band too

chicks love it, they ask so what songs do you know and i say just the ones in my head. they think your all deep and renegade and shit but really you just cba to memorise any by jose gonzalez or bon iver.

Tell you what, I've met loads of lovely young women playing assorted pop bits on piano.

Guitar, bass, drums and keys. Always try and incorporate as much of it into my music as possible.

yeah out of the few songs i started learning it was shit like britney spears - toxic and some justin timberlake stuff. not confident enough to sing in front of people though.

Dubmatters ... I don't even...... Anyways, I come from a pretty musical background. Even though I'm only thirteen, I still play trumpet, guitar, piano, and drums.

i played guitar for 7-8years and i was a badman but i stopped playing about 3 years ago and haven't really felt the desire to play again since

Played drums since i was 8, play a little bit of guitar and bass as well but not brilliantly

I play guitar,though it seems to be only when I'm drunk these days (which could be to my benefit as I like playing sludge/doom/stoner metal more and more now)

own a saxophone and started learning it but kind of stopped before I got any good

I played a little bit of everything but nevr got great at anything.
Picked up a copy of fruity loops like 12 years ago and just fell in love with hip hop and dance music, then when i first hard Dubstep I was like holy shit, this is my shit, and never wanted to do anything else again.
