What the fuck is it?

I can make a crackling sound in one ear, both if I swallow at the same time. It pops my ears for me when they are hurting from cabin pressure.

When I'm on my own walking in the street, sometimes I'll pretend to have races with random people. I'll see someone up ahead, decide 'right, i'm in a race with them' and off i'll go! There'll be a lamp post or something that marks the 'finish line'. I'm not allowed to run. Sometimes I give a running commentary in my head, too...

I nearly always win, but that's probably because they never know they're in a race.

It's weird, but it gets me places QUICK!

ha thats mad, i can do it in both ears or if i move my jaw slightly i can choose either ear. ive always tried to explain this to people and they thought i was just a fucking nutcase

You are not alone brother! I wish I knew what it was or even how I do it. It's the strangest thing coz usually with any movement or the like I understand how my body is making it happen, but with this it's just - 'thought' - 'crackle'
You're the only other person I know of to know what this is let alone be able to do it!

if you do it too many times in a row does it stop happening or stop in one ear? it does for me

also if i do "it" "hard" enough i can sorta hear a noise after the crackle. sorta sounds like air moving through it or something

and i know! i honestly thought it was just me

I do not know about doing it too many times or doing it 'hard'. As I don't know how it works i'm way too paranoid that half my face will just drop off or some shit!

I do that, but the commentary in my head is done by an anchor from the Kentucky Derby.

i use to do it in school whenever i saw a big group of people heading my way in a corridor.
seeing the panic in their eyes at the last moment when they realise you arent stopping is priceless

While im driving I try to swerve in and out of the reflectors bumps in the middle of the road without hitting them.

hmmm, I look at people in the eyes for longer than normal, just so to rouse some kind of response..
