Your video editing is quite good I enjoyed watching that, with the volume turned off but still, it was cool to watch. As for getting into the roots please do note the "new to dubstep" sticky on this forum. Loads of amazing tunes there

Haha this is better than any of the tracks in that video, just proves how shitty and simplistic skrillex's music is. Terrible just terrible.

When i was in my mid to late teens all i wanted to hear was the most aggressive lowest common denominator music, gabba, hardcore, dark drum and bass, speedcore ect. I'm 31 now and have no use for it, in fact i find it quite irritating but can understand why people listen to it, maybe it is an age thing?

i think you're right, but i would think its more accurately a Time thing, rather than an Age thing.. People are simply going to get bored of that sound. No matter what age, one can only brock out to screechy lasers and kick/snare for so many raves until they stop and ask themselves.... "what the fuck, man? give your ears a break and put on ANYTHING BUT that. " and as they move on to new tastes, they will likely and hopefully discover such great new sounds that there's hardly ever a reason they'll want to return/regress to their less mature taste.

Of course there will be newcomers to take their place

Nice video!
I don't care if I'm gonna get ripped to shreds but I really enjoy most of Skrillex' tracks.
Thanks for posting it and not being afraid to like the music you like.

It's all perspective. no need to get hurt butt, because everyone is going to have different taste.

Was at Ultra this year, bud. EMS said 17 people had died at the festival by day 2. No telling what the count was by day 3.
Main stage was something else. Had all these artists lined up that I wanted to see, but kept getting pulled to the main stage. What an experience.

this makes me cringe so hard. what really pisses me off is that you think that if it isnt as shitty and noisy as possible, we'll hate it. I do hate the "soft" music in this video though, not cause its not just aggro noises, but cause its cheesy annoying shit.

I think the reason that most kids listen to this brostep is because it's pretty different from things you hear on MTV and stuff (note : I'm 15 myself and I don't listen to any kind of brostep). Most kids probably like it because it's more noises than what I would consider music, and because they can mosh to it at raves. They probably think that they're some sort of underground culture or that they're very different from everyone else and that probably makes them think that they're really cool.

I prefer listening to artists like Loefah and Mala but if EVERYONE would like Burial and I would see Mala on MTV every day I would probably stop liking dubstep too.

:? Genuinely don't get this attitude. I'd still love South London Boroughs as much as I do now if it got to number 1 in the charts.
