Is there a lot of layering going on or something? It just so full. Here's another example of it in a Chasing Shadows song.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p9sA8S85LC4 54 second mark ish.

It's.. it's just so full and brutal. Someone please help a guy out. :(

I have NI Massive and use Logic Pro 9 as my DAW. Thanks in advance.

Yeah I read somewhere that in their studio they have 3 PCs - one for arrangment, one for browsing the internet and shit, and the other purely to create a single sound and bounce multiple versions of it, including different riffs and stuff. Gives you the advantage of using an entire cpu crafting a single sound :W:

I've never really done this though, I must admit their skills are next level and I probably have barely touched 5% of their knowledge of sound design in my comparatively short time as a producer

That's extremely close, yes. There's still something that seems to be missing, however. Can't quite put my finger on it. Perhaps it just needs to be in a lower octave? I'd love to know how you got to that point, at least.

Perhaps it would sound more like what I'm going for if it was in the context of a riff.

Hmm, I've never gotten a message telling me someone added me on AIM before, and I've been using it since I was about 12(22 now). I usually just get IM's from people and it asks me if I want to accept the message or not. Is this new? If not then I guess I'll catch you on sometime.
