Matoa, is he the guy that works at the bar in Yihlava? yes I saw him a few times at Akropolis... very good producer and dj.

You buggers! This topic was one day late! Just got back from Prague - we realised we missed that dubstep night at Wataka from a music mag but we did see Klute and Amit! Roxy is a phat club, shame about its complete lack of bass on that night - and Klute playing a couple of clownage bits..

Roxy is big, but it's gone downhill club these days... soundsystem is shit....
Clubs like Cross and Akropolis are smaller but much nicer... better vibes and better sound.

Sadly, the soundsystem is a shame since their "re-opening"... I don't even go there anymore.

M confused - Mos Dan wearing the historical Czechoslovakian Football Team jacket to DMZs, Mr Brooklyn Drawkafella originates from Prostejov, 7 below partying in Prague, Stormfield knowing the local club details, Jirka living in Leeds ... ppl and minds move easy, great!

we visited praha / yihlava / dobzhiz a few times, can't wait to visit again!

No ja uz se docela tesim... na posledni transmission sem si nekoupil listky dopredu a akorat sem mrznul pred vstupem hodinu a pul abych se pak dozvedel ze bez listku nebo bez guest listu to nepujde....
no nic, tentokrat sem vybavenej:)
co vy? nemate v planu si zas privest nekoho ze zahr. do prahy na vase sessions ve wakate ci akropoli?

Radost FX was good, had a nice soundsystem on the night too

I'm coming over too in the summer!! I'm writing my thesis about Czech jazz history, and I gotta come down to hunt down those old vinyls
You guys know any good jazz record shops over there?

Only my father's side is Czech so my language comprehension is limited.
I'll be sure to ask advice here the next time I head to Prague.
