My question is has anyone use this, for a legnth of time, and would you recomend it? or should i go for the finance option and get a X:One 02 Mixer for £375.
I bought mine, hmmm, about 7 months ago. I don't scratch either, and have used it only at home. Completely happy with it. Even before you plug it in, the design and finish say quality. Great sound, faders and layout. Pleasant and un-clicky EQs and kills (unlike my old Vestax PMC17A). Actually you can kill sweetly with the EQs as well.

Almost hidden feature: it does have a third channel, but a very limited one, has 2-band EQ and a rotary knob for volume.

Only con I can find is that the effects send is too low. At first used the regular channel send/return, but in the end I decided to use the 3rd channel as a return, that way you have enough gain.

And yes, I have seen new versions, they have a metal plate a bit Vestax-scratch-mixer-like.

Bitter irony is that they are made near Barcelona and are way cheaper in the US.
