they emulated the ssl analog mixer. meaning they tried to copy it into a digital mixer. it obviously doesn't sound exactly the same but it sounds pretty damn good and shares a lot of the same attributes. its a shit ton better than reasons thats for sure. plus record deals with audio and can timestretch etc..
