I mean I understand there are some people in the world who love Skrillex but they generally don't post on this forum.

The people of DSF are in an imaginary battle with imaginary skrillex fans on this forum. The overwhelming majority of this forum are into roots dubstep and pledge their loyalty to the founding fathers.

When I post music I like I'm not doing that with a long pretentious rants about how the music I like is the way the music is "supposed to be", telling people what's wrong about what they listen to and what's right about what I listen to. I simply post links. I don't get high and mighty about what I dig. If people can't see the inherent arrogance in the post and how disrespectful it is in general, then it says more about the general population of the forum than it does about me.

THIS. Why is it so hard for some people to grasp that there are no "right" or "wrong" answers in music, and no amount of experience in the scene makes your opinion more valid than anyone else's.
