 this thread did go off on a tangent huh?

I was being a little bit emo when posting this.

I was having a shitty day at work and was ready to slew someone.
Been trying to be more creative than destructive of late so I thought I'd try some writing.

normally my bars are taking the piss or all about the dance or wotevs so trying to write somthing personal is long.

--

also probably wasn't the right place to put somethinglike this.. as anything in this section is pretty much open to redicule.

no problems. no offense.

--

basically was trying to say that this music, unlike most other styles I listen to.. creates a space, (not being funny on joe nice), but this space seems to give me pause. and while having that it helps to reflect.

anyone else have similar experiences?

I been finding silence is the best thing for reflection lately, but musically not a great deal of dubstep does that for me. Aphex Twin ambient works usually does the trick.

And fuck it, tangents are usually far more interesting than the destination I find. Distractions rock :D

But yeah, it was kind of emo. Stick to safety razors just in case

Never has it, never will it.

Normal.

I've noticed how no one gets pulled up for using such words as gay and cigarette. When i used the the expression towel heads i nearly got kicked off the forum. Seems to me there is some kind of double standard shit going on.

Gay just means cheery though doesn't it, and cigarettes are cigarettes

Don't know quite why being happy's become a term of abuse recently - maybe it's the evil goth conspiracy trying japes again.

She not been using the moisturiser lately or has she just been out in the sun a lot. Thought they generally stitched the other lips after childbirth. :o

To bring this back on topic: Here's to you, good sir! That was some kind of public statement. Spoken like a man and a gentleman.

i have been jumpin' people's cases about it for years, to little avail. hence, a mountain of big gay bassbins and a backhanded way of saying "some of us here ARE gay, and no, we don't appreciate the word being used as an insult just because people are too lazy to find a more stinging insult than that one."

i decided to try a different tack, basically. i doubt it will work any better than me screaming about it did. :|
