"Just because you can, doesn't mean you should" - is the quote that resonates with me right now after watching that. A lot of processing just for the UI, which imho is an absolute waste. Would love to see if the UI is customizable however and see how they've tackled organizational challenges.

+1. For me a DAW is simply a tool to record what's in my brain (or hands if I'm just improving) to a digital format, as easily as possible. I could be wrong, but this looks ridiculously complicated, although it's impressive that he used a single tone and modulated it to make that tune.

Naw, I really think this is about techno (like the archetypical techno that finds manifestations in various genres, without itself being the captial T echno). Process oriented music making, this is just a new variety, or a wrinkle in the form of techno process. A way. Think it looks cool, if I had unlimited time and cycles, I would be up in that bitch (like every other bitch).
