Can we all just quietly shift the name of the actual genre dubstep to something new with out telling all the producers creating this sick pure dub?

Some of the attitudes in this thread stink worse than the tune does. Heads need to fix up and realize Dubstep is no longer a genre limited to their back pockets.

i think we all realise this. its just a painfull truth that the genre is getting raped just like garage did....

its ok though, im waiting for everything to head back underground (even if its afew years away)

Reeeeeally, is it? I'm yet to see dickheads bowling round, wearing sunglasses and suits with a bottle of Moet in their hand at raves?

Maybe you're just going to bait parties?

that was a horrible tune. reminds me of seriously bad pop/dance songs from the 90s... not the cool ones - the uncool ones.

i cant really be arsed to listen to it again but i swear that's a drum n bass tune. maybe im thinking of a remix. either way i think future bass sounds pretty cool, maybe we should try and swing things that way...

I think most clubs where this would be played actually fit with that stereo type.

Don't really understand the hate for such a legend? He has done so much for UK dance music culture. I guess it's just the general negativity which surrounds this forum? Time for some education:

this is only a good thing. its impossible to expect anything but this style to hit the charts. i dont particularly like the tune but to have a tune from dnb / dubstep roots is a big step. its not goin to detract from less mainstream styles of dubstep so its not hurting anyone.

Just glad to see DJ Fresh get some shine and love and appreciation. Slaving away in the scene for almost a decade now, all those FWD Nights and late-night Rinse.fm sessions have culminated in deserved success for someone in the scene this long
