I saw mala last month, i'm seeing vivek and joe nice this weekend. Scuba, and silkie in the coming weeks, in clubs. what u talking about son

why do we only get rusko and flux in the states??? i love mala, hes what got me really into dubstep,
would i have to fly to europe to see him, i mean i remember ONE time atleast for chicago, where benga was supposed to play. he backed out idk why and some shitty person played in his place..skream played a lollapoolza aftershow last year also but theres never any tours. wtf.
:(
You've got some great artists out there, but the education levels of dubstep are pretty poor from what I see. Same in the UK but not as bad, how many gigs does matty g or djg get vs rusko etc

Rusko moaned about brostep going too far, but still draws for it. If the established dj's didn't just play hype and had sets which moved across the dubstep spectrum, you would get more interesting mixes and a crowd being shown music they wouldn't normally here. But its just circus/rottun, then repeat

This is slightly disappointing compared to your previous comments.

I was replying on my phone, so sorry if I sounded really ignorant. You don't have to call me a tnuc though, I do have feelings.

I really just think that bass music has evolved differently in America based on how we listen to music. American bassheads are more likely to have two 12s in their trunk than to go to some club for a set(cities can be spread out as fuck here). The way subs sound in a car is very different from a club or even in home listening.

Gucci and Young Jeezy beats have simpler basslines that hit real low (30-40hz) because that shit sounds nice in a car. Crazy-ass Horrid Henry LFOs sound boomy and inaccurate in the car.

Club systems can do the nimble basslines with ease, but in a large room, the lowest frequencies might not hit as loud as they should. I saw a video of Reso saying he likes to put his songs in G, F, or E because that's the club's sweet spot(40-50hz).

So in summary, Gucci>>>>>>Mala hands down, dubstep is for pussies. I wish that Atlantic Ocean wasn't in the way or I'd put my foot up your assholes, real talk.
