Mate Berlin is the one.

Go to some sick squats, one of them called Kopi on Kopinikker Strasse is hench.

Go cotch out in Kreutzberg and buy some radical anarchist/anti-fascist stickers.

Munch bare kebabs in Freidrichain.

Drink Berlinerkinder beer for €1 with 20cents back is you recycle it in a badass recycling machine called a 'pfandautomat'.

Go to the beer garden in Volkspark Freidrichain and munch pork chop and potato salad and drink whitebeer.

Cotch in the Teirgarden.

Go and visit the Marx and Engles statue next to the TV tower thingy.

^^this - not the kebabs, but Freidrichshain (sp?) is definitely the place to be. Take a walk down Kopernikustrasse on a saturday afternoon; the whole place is buzzing with clothes shops, cafes, music shops ec, and it's much better than some of the 'cool' places like Prenzlauerberg, which are a bit gentrified and poncy i reckon.

coming across Kopernikustrasse is Simon Dach Strasse which is basically 150 cafes and restaurants on the same street, and again really lively and vibrant in the evenings.

just round the corner from all this is Karl Marx Allee - a street built by the russians after the war. it's really interesting to have a wonder up, there's not an awful lot there, but it's mad to see the really grandiose architecture and stuff - the road is about 100m wide, and very reminiscent of moscow or minsk if you've ever been there...
