Yeah but those tags are lies though arent they? Id rather get little or no exposure than labelling my music DMZ or having waves of teeny bandwagoners rating my 'music'.
Why shouldn't he be allowed to do that? Do you know what tags are for?
Refusing to use tags doesn't make you cool man

So if you use a hundred tags most of which are lies anyway then thats ok? I thought tags were accurate labels so likeminded people could search for the type of music they like, so that means if i was looking for anything id end up with those tracks. Now thats misuse of tagging and i woundnt even waste the minutes of my life to listen to them anyway because with a name like 'flithzillza' i can guarantee its going to be some skrillex or rusko wannabe shite.

I had to google her to find out who she was.

Getting old means you lose touch with popular culture. Good.

its your choice to turn it off when you realise that it isn't what you wanted. anyway he may interpret his music to be like dmz, different perceptions.

anyway the industry does this shit on a level larger then some kid tagging his shit wrong. artists and labels with good media management are guilty of this more then anyone else, why do you think swamp81 have so much hype around them.

I suppose swamp81 has the hype because of the big names on the label. How anyone could think skrillex sounds like DMZ is beyond me but actually who cares.

If you already know that it's not what you're looking for, what's your issue? Just don't listen to it...
It's not his fault you don't like the style of music..

Because the tags should be relevant. Its like tagging a deep, dark dubstep track with Lady Gaga, Brit-Brit, Black Eyed Peas, Simon Cowell, Mala, God, Christian Hymn music, Speedcore, Pub Duke Box Classics, Atomic Kitten, Filthy Filthy Yoi Yoi, Thelem, Grandmother Raping, Clown Step, Drum&Bass, Classical, 70s prog rock, Tunnidge, Bach's 3rd Sympthony, Satan, Moshing, Mountain Dew, Sony Playstation, Deep, Dead Mau Five, Dulex White Emulsion.

So its peoples fault for clicking on these tags because they like these things then end up with something totally different????

I actually couldn't care less what people think of me and my tagging.

I'm the one with lots of plays on my tunes, so I'm the one winning. ;)

Music and this whole industry is all about thrusting music down peoples throats and fighting to be heard. Maybe that's not the way it should be but sadly it is, so what can ya do? You either have to join em or whine about it on DSF, the choice is yours.

to be fair id have agreed to produce that tune if i got bare money for it, who cares, no one ever has to know its you who made it. why sit back and let talentless losers like cher lloyd get all the money when talentless losers like us can be cashing in.

Those aren't the only choices though, are they? You could just make music that you enjoy and consider to be good, and then post it online without mass tagging, and if people listen to it and like it then all the better. Unless you're one of those people who craves the appreciation of others to justify their own self worth...

I bet you are so proud to have fooled people into upping your plays and making you feel like a king!

No better feeling than having loads of plays from people that dont actually want to hear or like your music.
