Its not really dubstep though is it? Just like a few months back when every pop tune sounded like really cheesy house.

Its just pops new 'thing'. Just cause its a kick on 1 and snare on 3 around 140bpm doesn't automatically make it dubstep.

When I would audition for a program like that, I would send in Changes by Mala as my music.
My dancing routine would be just me standing there, nodding my head and blazing a zoot.
Because that's how you dance to dubstep.

I agree, your talking about OP vid right?

if anything its really "light" dubstep. Theres not really any bro basses, or deep bass. Just a 140 beat with a small wobble.

Specimen-Yarp wrote:i like that dubstep is popular but completely completely mainstream........ sad sad fact...

well when you take a look at the top 40 singles charts in the UK, USA and Canada over the last 4 years and see that less than 0.001% of the artists who have featured in them were dubstep artists I think its safe to say you dont need to worry about completely completely mainstream any time soon. Or lets be honest, ever.

if some shitty american pop tv show wanted to use one of my songs for a large amount of greenbacks, i'd be like "hellz ya"

tho, i wouldn't expect to hear anti-war dub on americas next top model anytime soon. or ever.
