It's not just about getting the amp and speakers though if the soundcard isn't going to drive it particularly well and he may want to then consider a DAC as well.

Given what OP is asking for is a set of PC speakers then ones I used are the acoustic energy ae m 2.1 which also has a sub and have decent reviews from pretty much everyone that's used them and resident advisor etc

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Acoustic-Energy ... 991&sr=8-1

3 bass settings as well, they've been around a while and still out perform pretty much everything in the same class

hmmm, well I use the Klipsch Promedia 2.1. Do you guys think I could do for something better? I do notice my music sounds better in my car than in my room.

True soldier. Big ups

Alright lol if you want to joke around and not be straightforward and answer my question that's fine too.
Dude, you've already been helped. Get a decent amp and pair of hi-fi speakers.

Honestly though I really wouldn't even know where to start looking. I am by no means an audiophile and I wouldn't even know what brands are good and what aren't.

There's only so much help we can give, you're practically asking us to buy the speakers for you. Don't roll up into the hideout with your "I like both sides of dubstep" bullshit then complain when a few people take the piss. You either learn to roll with it or GTFO.

IMO, it's not like I speak for these lunatics or anything.

Also you're lucky to get a hot tip from wanka like that.

Well seriously. I mention that I listen to brostep and everyone just turns the topic into a joke. I know it is because of that; I'm not blind.

What I don't get though is why everyone is doing that. Music is music man, enjoy it. Whether it be Skrillex or Loefah, I like it all. Don't hate.

It just kind of seems evident to me that you guys are a bunch of dubstep hipsters that won't conform to the new ways, as that is not of hipster nature. Whatever, yo. Keep your oldstep and listen to that until the day you die. Be loyal to it, and don't cheat on it by listening to Nero. Don't conform.

Another thing that I don't get is that I've been told that brostep is just an Americanized version of what "real" dubstep is. The strange part about that though is that there's plenty of people who produce brostep out of the United Kingdom. I just named one in the paragraph above this.

correct me if i'm wrong on any of this. This is all just things that I've noticed.

not to hard just to post a fucking brand or something man all I want to do is get some speakers.

Hey, go to page one. Look under your original post. He told you what you need to know, if not at least enough information to research something for yourself. There is no need for 20 other people to post the same exact thing.

Also, what's the point of all that other shit. Are you trying to convert people to brostep? There's no need for your flawed opinions. You can leave now.

Edit: Heh...flawed opinions...I like that one.
