I'm an oldschool gamer myself. The new game industry dosn't interest me, all seems like movies you just click randomly through to progress.

if anyone has xbox live and loves old school games I highly recommend pac man: championship edition dx
one of the only times when an updated game actually stays true to the original whilst adding a highly original twist
got to a point where that and rockstar table tennis where the only games I was playing til I just stopped xbox all together

Fack off! RF2 is wank compared to the original!
(RF1 was the first game I got for PS2 so I may be slightly biased. RF2 story was whack though imo)

Oh wait, yeah fuck RF2.
It was RF1 that you could make tunnels in.

No mention of SSX Tricky? One of the most played games by me!
PS2 had some fantastic RPGs; spent a lot of time with Disgaea 3 and Atelier iris.
Still have mine and buy new games for it quite regular.
Metal slug as well (who ever mentioned it)

ico and shadow of the colossus are amazing. i still replay ico every once in a while so i'm looking forward to the hd rerelease. but i'm also all about the first jak & daxter and the ratchet & clank series (going commando being the best). ps2 was just a monster of a console.

I re-played the first Jak and Daxter last year when my computer blew up - thought fack it while i wait for new parts to turn up i'll play it..
2 weeks later the boxes of my new parts was sitting in the corner while I got 100% on it haha.. brilliant game!
Haven was good too!

haven! always wanted to play that but i never got around to it, it seemed like it was the type of game i'd really enjoy. might see if it's available online and pick up a copy actually...
also, i played the living shit out of ssx and tricky, haha. i think "finished symphony" by hybrid (which i think was in both of those?) was my first exposure to electronic music. i thought it was the coolest thing i had ever heard at the time, haha.
