yea, the logo sucks generally, but what the fuck did any past logo look like? i can't even remember anythng except for some cyclone looking guy - and yo, what about china, 1 year away i already forgot their logo, 2012? i can't even think 'bout next year let alone 2012 - why a logo so early (oh yea, 2billion euro to raise).
ps - i would rock this logo over a NY yankees logo anyday

it is a digital logo tho - think it's the first time any olympics host city has used their logo in this way - i think they just wanted to do something a little different..... they also claim it will 'evolve' over the years before the games start too, that could be them back tracking tho after such a shitty reaction
i quite like the blue torquoise one
in work in branding and everyone at my business reckon it's shit too

I think its ok...all the conservative/reactionary tossers aka "the Great British public" think its shit so by default it has to be good.

seriously tho, what do people think of London 2012? Do you think it will benefit this country?
I personally think that it is another complete waste of money by the government when there is real issues that need funding in this country. In london there are some areas that seriously need development and the government are throwing their money at the olympics? i mean £400,000 for a logo?
