you students might have time, not something I can justify doing tho....
Burgen soya and linseed or warburtons seeded brown / bread from bakery are reasonable alternatives!

low-GI sead loaf for me.
Ive made loads of bread and this loaf is tasty and convenient.
The smaller seed loafs are exactly as I would make them at home but bought from a shop.
Makes you wonder if making your own is worth it.
NOPE
Homemade doesn`t last at all, make it and eat it.

Brown over white or granary any day, especially for toast. I get pissed off when bread's full of seeds and shit though.

That with raisins.
Now why would I make that if I can buy it?
As much as I enjoy making bread.

I'm the opposite, most brown bread is really bland and dry to me.
It's granary above all else, then white if there ain't any about. Nice moist slices with malted pieces = pure lovelyness.

Or just fuck off shitty packet-yeast and made your own sour dough! That way you get a tight loaf that's more nutritious and lasts up to 6 months

I did it once before and it was sick, next time I'm going to use barley and molasses for a sweet treat

fact of the day: chapattis are ridiculously easy to make
- ideally "chappati flour" from a shop, otherwise use a mixture of brown/white flour.
- mix that shit with a little bit of water
- knead that shit til its all uniform and shit
- roll that shit out into flat bits, real thin. doesn't matter if they arent round (although its better if they are)
- chuck those motherfuckers on a frying pan (no oil. if you want to make puris its basically the same but at this stage you deep fry them. not so easy, but fucking beautiful)
- when they bubble, turn them over
- when they bubble again, chuck them straight on a flame ti they puff up.
- make fucking loads
- dip them in daal (red lentils, garlic, onion, garlic, garlic, turmeric, garlic, readymade currypowder + garram masala, any chilli, garlic, ginger, coriander, cumin seeds, garlic, job done)
doesnt look that easy in bullet points but it is.
also cover everything in flour to avoid sticking.

That bread looks good, I made some more today and it wasn't so chewy, lighter and fluffier than before
Also that recipe for chappati looks pretty good, though i haven't found an indian shop in bristol yet which annoys me, you can't buy everything from fucking asda and tesco..
also i appreciate the amount of garlic that is required to make daal stuff, sounds pretty fucking tasty as fuck man.
