I just do standard admin shit for my mums company, its a pretty sweet deal really, just walked straight into the job and i'm pretty much immune to the sack because my mum's the director haha

way to really make your own place in the world. you really never do get as much respect when you get an easy ride from your parents. but i cant really say anything because im sure id take advantage of it if i had that option too.

no, i tend to get more respect when i explain what the company does, we work with young people who are soon to be leaving social care, they are reffered to us via local authority social services and then we organise a semi-independence placement, they get a flat, a weekly allowance and regular liasons with outreach workers and the aim is to prepare them for living on their own once they've left care.

i do actually work hard when im here you ass! have you ever tried balancing £12,000 worth of receipts for minor company expesnses in 2 days whilst constantly being interuped by endless phonecalls? have you ever had to email every single youth offending team in the country in an afternoon? how about liasing between local authorities and letting agents trying to find accomodation that satisfies both parties? how about having to give formal statements to the police on a regular basis everytime one of these kids breaks the law or decides to go missing?

to be honest the amount of drugs you brag about doing you're probably on the same level as most of these kids we have to work with, do you want me to sort you out with an appartment and an outreach worker to tell you to tidy up and lay off the drugs? I could get you a 1 bed in woolwich and a guidance councillor before the day is out, you probably need it.
