cody wrote:i agree with obi. the end is a pocket full of ass. the only time i had a good night there was a uni end of term party. the dnb nights were always kak and the house night went to was kak. there is no where to sit down! dont any of you end lovers realise this!? all seats in the back bar get taken and are never free and the only other place to sit is on the little step between the bar and the main room and there you get instantly moved by bouncers. they pump way too much fake smoke into the dancefloor and it takes aaages to get a drink.
there are so many venues in london, seriously why the end???
I actually thought my head was going to come off last time I reached Renegade Hardware at the end.

WDF???????Why is every1 bitching???I dont understand, i think this is another great oppertunity for dubstep/UK Underground Music. The End is a prestigious club and i dunno why every1 is moaning about the sound system, check ur ears people, that system is boogified and does the job.
The End is not a club where any promoter can just do a rave, so for FWD to be there twice in 2 years is very good.
People forget dubstep is still small in the sense where we still cant stand up tall to the likes ov house music and drum and bass music, so really as this is happening,we should all be smiling
Just coz a few people got the shangoolie bouncers, doesnt mean to say the night itself will be cack, dem bouncers der make sure things are running tight and no trouble is made, so look at it in that sense!!!
This is 2007 people
Cheer Up!

The end is one of the best clubs in the country imo, but it's london so drinks prices are stoopid. No escaping that one.
If i was back down south i'd definitely head. that system merks

Sum people moan about Plastic People blood. Sayin its too dark and I like it like that. Am I not allowed to say that I don't feel the fake smoke, and that the bouncers there definitely do not go on like Winston from Plastic People! I am one of those people when I don't get in to the real FWD or can't dance cos its too ram that says maybe sometimes it could be in a different venue, but what's wrong with trying sutting different, I was at the End party last time, I repped till the end so don't tell me shit, I was there when Check it got wheeled for Gens and I remember everyone and myself going mad, maybe its cos I was there with my ex and we don't talk anyomore but it just felt wrong in hindsight, she never went to the real FWD , too bright, too much about people, not enough about the music! Also sum1 told me the system weren't firing properly on the bass end, so maybe that was it, I didn't rock earplugs last time and i really don't like getting deafened by a stack of mids and treble. Just cause I don't like a venue don't mean I'm not supporting the dubstep mate, what is everyone not gonna go to this cos I don't reach??????!!!!!!!!

i think its just nice to check dubstep in different venues, The End is not Plastic Peoples, the systems not the same, but it could be a lot worse, and maybe if the people organising it can see that the punters arnt keen on the smoke machines they'll allow it for the fwd event there...... still, will be interesting to see how it differs from the last one now that dubstep is more popular and high profile.

i used to like ram at the end, til it turned into 6 hours of subfocus tunes..it's quite intimate and the sound system is nice

I have had loads of wicked nights down the end while going out to DnB and house / techno!
Its not really that bad but then I have been going for years so security are OK with me.
I have been to two FWDs and they have been good. I am sure round 3 will be no different.
Shame the system for both nights wasn't as potential as it could be. The set up in the end is deadly if the sound engineer does there job properly.
I have heard some serious bass pressure from the system in room two but its rare they actually turn it all the way up!
