did ya put it in C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Big Tick\Rhino ??? idk if you're on a pc or what but i had this problem and i didn't realize i had to put it in the folder that i had no idea existed.

Im on a mac. Ill revisit in, but I thought I followed the instructions carefully.

Been playing around with this for the past couple of days, it's really quite a sick synth. $20 is a steal for this thing

It should work user->library->application support->Big Tick->Rhino


Oh, and remember to restart your DAW.

figured it out. i accidentally downloaded the file twice so it put a (1) at the end.

I installed and fiddled with Rhino last night.
I`m pretty impressed really.
It`s really got a great sound.
Really great buy

Yeah, I think I might get $20 worth of use out of it.

one preset was enough for me to be happy with it
I played one key and made a shlomo-esk sound.
Not one bland note but a soundscape of granular glitches, low-passed drones, etc.
Really surprised I hadn`t heard more of Rhino.
I`m big on granular and FM synthesis style sounds and this is right up that street.
The Additive side is also inspiring.
I did 6 addiitve user waveforms of a chinese gong and modulated the separate hits.
I ended up with an awesome morph-able granular bell sound that transformed into deep bass heavy womps.
Processed it a bit and got a heavy distorted bass tone.
Pretty special really.
Plus I really enjoy the layout with Alloy installed.

For Soundscapes/Drones/Textures this thing is awesome. Quite underrated I think.

even bread and butter sounds are easy when you use additive waveforms

Till when does this deal run? Thinking of grabbing this, but there are also other things on my list to buy.

Neither do I, might grab it tonight then, just to be sure.

Will be up till at least end of 2011. Even though there is barely any interest in this, it doesn't cost me any money to keep it available.

Just in case anyone was on the fence.

This is a pretty deep synth, somewhat hard to program as most FM's are but nonetheless pretty cool. Especially for only $20 bucks.

what a great synth, has to be bought at this price imo. haven't had a chance to get deep in it yet but impressed from my initial play with it.
