These are Sun readers, remember.

I really want to know if they killed him with his own golden gun, or they made one especially for killing him or whether that fucking next dude with a Yankee fitted just carries a golden gun about all the time.

disturbing.... but gotta realize how these people have felt for decades being ruled by this man.
I don't think many of us on this forum can begin to relate to these peoples mindset... so I can't really pass judgment on them.

No, totally. Europeans have acted much worse:
Mussolini wiki wrote: When Audisio entered the room where Mussolini and the other fascists were being held, he reportedly announced, "I have come to rescue you!... Do you have any weapons?" He then had them loaded into transports and driven a short distance. Audisio ordered, "Get down"; Petacci hugged Mussolini and refused to move away from him when they were taken to an empty space. Shots were fired and Petacci fell down. Just then Mussolini opened his jacket and screamed, "Shoot me in the chest!" Audisio shot him in the chest. Mussolini fell but did not die and was breathing heavily. Audisio went near and he shot one more bullet in his chest. Mussolini's face looked as if he had significant pain. Audisio said to his driver, "Look at his face, the emotions on his face don't suit him." The other members of Mussolini's entourage were also executed before a firing squad later that same day towards nightfall.
On 29 April 1945, the bodies of Mussolini, Petacci, and the other executed Fascists were loaded into a moving van and trucked south to Milan. There, at 3:00 am, they were dumped on the ground in the old Piazzale Loreto. The piazza had been renamed "Piazza Quindici Martiri" in honor of 15 anti-Fascists recently executed there.
After being shot, kicked, and spat upon, the bodies were hung upside down on meathooks from the roof of an Esso gas station. The bodies were then stoned by civilians from below. This was done both to discourage any Fascists from continuing the fight and as an act of revenge for the hanging of many partisans in the same place by Axis authorities. The corpse of the deposed leader became subject to ridicule and abuse. Fascist loyalist Achille Starace was captured and sentenced to death and then taken to the Piazzale Loreto and shown the body of Mussolini. Starace, who once said of Mussolini "He is a god," saluted what was left of his leader just before he was shot. The body of Starace was subsequently strung up next to the body of Mussolini.
A bit of dancing around the corpse is fairly tame in this sort of situation. Fuck that guy.

Why do you think it's called "The Sun"? If you look at it long enough it will blind you.

I bet he is.
This is good news. I hope they give him a respectable trial and leave him rotting in a jail cell as he watches the country get back on its feet and his image become more and more of a laughing stock.
Yeeeeah, so it looks like this didn't happen. Not like there's much argument about him being deserving of a bullet to the dome, but still, it'd be nice for the NTC to make a stand for decency here.
Yeah, because the Western cou... er Arab Spring (Western Coup/regime change) is likely to bring that; remind me again, how has the situation been since Mubarak ran off with the nations gold and then subsequently returned to be tried? The answer is a heavy handed (evidently more so than Mubarak)Western-backed and guided Military dictatorship. My point is how can you not see what is really important, such as the UN sending/spending squandering resources from its member state populace on illegal wars orchestrated for its own limited and short term gains? Even Belgium sent warplanes down there despite not having a government for 450+ days!
How can this imbecile's death, or any single person's for that matter, overcome the negligence of 1000's of deaths of civilians as a result of indiscriminate bombing and unbridled violence since it began and then come to be regarded as 'good news' will be an eternal mystery for me. What I find incredibly ironic, if not outright disgusting is that when there were victims of the Tsunami in Fukushima dying from hypothermia and hunger the US (the biggest benefactor of Japan's credit nation status) was dropping million dollar bombs in mass into hospitals and schools believed to be his strongholds--keep in mind I do not believe in a nation's Government pledging funds to even its most staunch allies on its own discretion; altruism is not synonymous with the State and this proves it is not even capable to adequately court those who theoretically pay for the US war machine in a time of need.
Dictators and evil exist in this World, but I don't see why the MIC and Warfare State should be there to incite it around the World and then profit from it, much less present itself as condonable in the minds of its respective populace. Looks like they are laying it thick with Iran these days, too.
I won't be surprised to see if you see the sheep on display again like they did for Bid Laden's presumed murder on loop while they create some other false flag... funny thing is I was kind of expecting an imperial stars and stripes affair given he was CIA/Pentagon at one point.
brasco wrote:now only if there was oil in Zimbabwe...
Not needed they have other resources. But China marked its territory long ago there and the entire Continent for that matter, they even do it with it by importing its own domestic slave labor so there isn't even the short-lived economic boom in the occupied nations. Empire 2.0 was what I called it 2008.
Edit: Grammar and syntax are often undermined when I multi-task.

Gaddafi was the one with the golden gun. They took it from him when he was killed.
This is the man who killed him:
They also found a gold plated Dragunov in one of his compounds:
