no i don't game on my mpb, the ventilation is shit so like i said you only get about 20-30 fps. mine is the 2010 model so i could be misleading.

try it on a friends mpb or why don't you go on a forum that specialises in mac gaming. ALSO (times may of changed) but mac gamers can't access pc gamer servers (you could always install windows on your mbp)

diablo 3 will be able to run on mac so id rather not install windows.

and installing windows wont fix the ventilation problems of mbp's :)

i have such mixed thoughts. i dont know what to do now :(

ive got the cheapest macbook pro (2.4 ghz, 4GB) and I can play tf2, borderlands, bioshock and a few others all fine on around medium quality.

Have no trouble getting into regular servers either.

Ive got a 13" 2.4 GHz Core 2, 4GB Memory with a 500GB HDD that I run WoW on. 40+ FPS with all the shadows and stuff turned to low (even though it recommended "good"). My only gripe is the command key being placed where Alt is on a PC gets annoying, as well as the function and ctrl key positions. Also seems Mac mouse tracking is a little less responsive compared to a PC mouse (this can be fixed with 3rd party tools). I've seen people run WoW off iPods, your specs are more than fine for running any Blizzard game. They make their shit playable on just about any computer.

The laptop I'm on has a "subwoofer" too, but it's not going to shake your desk by any means. Provides a bit more low end so you can hear basslines in some music but that's about it really. I doubt that one is much better. I am very pleased with the laptop speakers, the best ones I've heard so far, but they are still small laptop speakers.

Wow you guys are playing those games with just the integrated gfx chip on the 13 inchera. Ill be fine with the top of the line 15"

And idk what whoever was saying macs play in different servers. Thats never been the case for any games i have seen. As long as the game supports macs they dont care what platform your using for servers it has no affect.
