black! listen to a low 808 note

May be because I associate low bass with dark rooms and black speaker-stacks?

personally couldn't relate subbass to a colour
definitely more of a shape
probably something similar to a sonic boom

Sub bass is dark brown (at least thats how I always colour it in logic)
Synths are purple, FX white, pads yellow

black, dense and with rounded edges. The shape is then changed by the length or decay of the note. The attack changes the shape of the sound but I struggle to describe that.

I imagine sub bass being black, or dark purple. The first thing that comes to mind is Loefah when I think sub bass. Tunes like Horror Show etc. I cant really put a color on sub bass, because when I hear artists like Kryptic MInds I think of a warm color, Red or Orange. It really depends on the artist/sounds you mostly associate sub bass with, and also the atmosphere of the tune.
