Oi what u trying to say fam?!
I'm saying that obviously there are a lot of people that have been fighting to remove the stigmas and generalizations that are being attached to the many different/new faces of dubstep. none of these people getting into dubstep want to be considered bandwagon jumpers. I'm saying new sounds and styles are born every minute, and each person that takes it and runs with it is a bandwagon jumper to somebody. We just need to find out who the Skroombatex is. If the lines were more clear dividing good/bad then it would be easier for everyone to tell whether they like good moombahton or the simpler, dumbed down version.

these are 2 110bpm tunes i am working on. mixdowns are pretty bad. not great but i like the tempo and am trying to incorporate some different things into the sound.
The only moomba stuff I can find that I like has been from Big Chocolate.
But there's some UKF knockoff guy that posts all moombaton/moombacore stuff on YT. I subscribed, just waiting for some good shit. This one is growing on me...it was well edited but is still a little too Skrillex knock-offish to gain my full respect.

Definitely wrong season to post, but a clean track nonetheless
Is AC in reference to ac slater?

I really don't know what to say. I like it because it sounds like night by benga and coki, but on the other hand it kinda sounds like shit.
isn't that a remix of the geeneus remix? i know what you mean though, it's not bad, got a nice tribally feeling to it but at the same time it seems amateurish

i tweeted dave nada (the guy who invented moombahton) a while back asking him for tips on playing moombahton out..
he said mix it with other things around that same tempo (like hip hop, dancehall, reggaeton) which i think was well sound advice... it gets a good response in clubs cuz its sorta bouncy and thers some decent remixes about, but i wouldnt wanna hear a 2 hour set of straight siren filled moombahton
i dont think u can just dismiss the entire genre - thats narrow minded

I used to really hate it because it gave me that daddy yankee vibe, but recently I've learned to love it. Its like really dirty ravey jungly music.
The genre is still in its infancy too, but I'm loving the way its moving forward.

its stuff like this which makes me lose respect for budding genres. and the fact that most of the tunes are pretty awful.

how has it got so many subgenres already?
seeing terms like moombahsoul & moombahcore being dashed around.

EDM Rule #1 : the second the tempo changes a new subgenre is formed
EDM Rule #2 : the second the drum pattern changes a new subgenre is formed (excluding break related stuff, which will just have the prefix "break" whatever)

From what I heard. I actually dislike it immensley... Sounds like some dubsteppers have met party people in Cancun and come up with that shit. Loved cancun, hated the music.
im not really a fan of any of it that ive heard, but i do really like this one...ill.gates never dissapoints

Most of the stuff i've heard sounds like slowed down brostep but these 2 are really good. arroz con pollo is one of my favourite tunes ive heard in ages
