yeah the main theme is media effects and what not but i felt the first episode was like newswipe with a pig

I thought it kinda dealt with the Orwellian type future well, when I thought about it, if society continued as it is today but with less regulations on media and human rights and the current capitalistic system pushing on , that is what it would look like. More humans, less resources, so new ways of harnessing power and more virtual lives, a more hyper fame driven tripe society. Just again it was painted in typical Brooker cynicism.
