Komt toch pils uit de kraan in Enschede?Genevieve wrote:Meh, the tapwater in my city does taste like crap. As does the best sold water in the Netherlands however (Spa, it's truly fucking disgusting). I still drink the tapwater here because I don't wanna spend all that ridiculous cash on bottled water, but purely taste wise, it can make sense to buy bottled water. 'High end' water is bullshit, though.

Nope, the minerals in it do. And a bad combination of minerals will end up tasting like shit.therzbm wrote:newsflash: water has no taste

I see, when you drink water from the ocean, you can't taste this one mineral called salt that is in it. Most people can, btw.therzbm wrote:and what? a good combination of minerals will end up giving you that crisp refreshing tasteless taste?Genevieve wrote:Nope, the minerals in it do. Boil the water before you drink it, then stick it in the fridge. That solves all problems.Electric_Head wrote:nestle is all you get in Thailand, and you`ll get horribly sick if you drink the tap water
It`s rather hot in Thailand, the last thing I wanted to do was boil the water and wait for it to cool.kay wrote:Boil the water before you drink it, then stick it in the fridge. The water purification system was never designed to filter out hormones so all the synthetic oestrogen and progesterone in The Pill keep going round and round (they also hemaphrodise fish which we then eat)... same for plastics, they release xeno-oestrogen which is more powerful than normal, biologically orginating oestrogen and are probably a prime cause of cancer but are not filtered.Genevieve wrote:Don't all hormones we pee out get into the water?
That's what fridges and freezers are for! Anyway, just boil enough the night/day before.Electric_Head wrote:It`s rather hot in Thailand, the last thing I wanted to do was boil the water and wait for it to cool.kay wrote:Boil the water before you drink it, then stick it in the fridge.
