I haven't been able to make any music for the past few weeks because I just can't find anything else to learn...
Are you saying you are the best, most knowledgeable producer in tha world?
No I just don't know what else to learn.

You need to learn to stop making cheesy hiphop, and start making more tunes like coco pops imo.

oh gosh haha, I feel exactly like that sometimes, but instead of taking a break Ill usually end up sitting at the screen wasting time from playing around with a certain complete sound and getting no progress from it, or start something new, decide I don't like it and no one wants to hear that then delete it or come back to preview but never actually finish working on it.

Oh yeah, my guitar teacher from 2008 said to me that we all eb and flow as musicians/artists. You're going to have times when you can't do anything even though you want to, and then you'll have even shorter times where you're just on the ball and loving it.

Motivation for me was a killer when i was smoking weed.Since i quit i don't really find trouble to get motivated. If i'm bored of arranging i will just make patches with whatever synth i wanna use at the time or make sampler instruments like drum kits vocal patches......I think the key to staying motivated is mixing it up,i have spent days trying to work out drops, intro's and ish but just get stuck in that loop monging moment so mixing up for me keeps it interesting.

How about learning a new genre? It's a whole world of new production techniques to learn.

Yeah I've been trying to get in the groove of dubstep lately, since I never really produced dubstep before.

eat well, sleep well, travel the country, browse sample sites, hum a catchy tune and try and re-create it, dont sit and play your new beat over and over if your not feeling productive and getting anywhere with it you'l just get bored of your tune alot faster and chances are you'l change the best part of it for something quite frankly shite
