Its an amazing line up, but i honestly dont think i could possibly go. Even if it turned out michael jackson wasnt dead, he was actually working on a collaborative album with burial the whole time, and they were going to perform it live with terry wogan on mic duties, AND it was rumoured that burials dance flair is on some next shit and he continuously mixes while outdancing michael jackson for 3 hours, i just couldnt do it...the whole time id just be thinking "i wish i could play 2p machines"

Never got to go to bloc while at Butlins, what would you compare it to if you could? Obviously it seems that the fact its in the middle of London will take away what made bloc different from other festivals. Would you recommend going anyway? I am debating heading to echo festival so it could be a pretty intense few days seeing as bloc is straight after it

'We’ll be open from 2pm until 6 am and WE WILL BE RUNNING AN AFTERPARTY between the Friday and Saturday night, with some exciting but secret headliners, so things won’t stop.'
'But please do watch this space because, when finalized, we have something that will really surprise people so people will be able to remain on site. '

bought my ticket ages ago, definitely worth it if you've got a mates house to go back to, going to be fucking sick.

I'll be less than impressed if they announce some sort of accomodation after i've booked a hotel.
Still, it sounds like it's gonna be amazing.

think me and some of my mates are gonna be going to the friday now, looks pretty awesome tbh, never expected anyone to be interested, asked loads of people and they all wanna go! im guessing it's gonna be totally different to the other years but does anyone have any sort of idea what it's gonna be like? also are they adding any more acts do people know?

				Nah!
I could crash round my friends place in Shoreditch but it isn't the same. The BLOC crowd are OK but when the Resident Adviser knobs from East London jump all over this the vibe will be spoiled by cheap drugs and people trying to be into the various sounds. Cambridge people living in East London flex.......
Plus I don't like the fact they have 'express' tickets which to me basically means everyone else will have to queue to get into an arena. Not into queuing when moving around rooms which will make for a terrible night.
The concept of the weekender where there is a bit of a social community vibe and a chance to escape the madness for 30 minutes while grabbing a decent good quality drink is being replaced by hectic queuing.
I'll stop hating now!

Wearing second hand jumpers, torn blazers and all sporting beards! Resident Advisor crew all over. Fucking ruined enough nights over the last couple years.
Actually much prefer DnB crowds, soulful house massive, dub crew etc. Any where there is anything slightly minimal those tossers turn up and ruin the dance. It is almost like they know exactly how to suck the vibe right out of a night.

you ever been to the Boiler Room? I just didn't get it, it was my first time out in London and the vibe was horrible, so pretentious. I wouldn't go again that's for sure.

				Meh, fuck it. Ignore them.
Went to Field Day last year, it was absolutely full of them but I still had a good time, they're harmless. To a large extent you make your own vibe. If a bunch of hipsters (hate that word but I'll use it for ease of understanding) are capable of ruining your night, you're doing it wrong.
Got tickets for this in the end, still not too sure about it to be honest (essentially it's £110 for 2 nights out and I'm worried about queueing for each area), but it'll be fun, and I'd rather stump up the cash and it be disappointing than not go and it be the best thing ever.
Also, lets face it, the lineup is ridiculous.

you ever been to the Boiler Room? It's pretty hard to go into a room completely sober full of 50 of the biggest hipsters in the world who are stood still draining the vibe whilst the dj faces the wrong way. It doesn't ruin it, it just puts a limit on how much fun you can have, unless you're saying that the vibe and crowd count for nothing?
