i've filmed a few IT & computer programmer events that are no different to this. the more recent one i did cost £500 for 2 days...

£140's not a lot in comparison.

if it was worthless or pointless the brands involved wouldn't put their names to it.

( i aint got jack to do with it btw.... )

Cheers mate, I don't mind what people say those that want to learn will those that dont ...

To be honest while this event has production it is alot more about marketing and the business. In that respect it has some very experienced people talking where you can learn alot and meet other people

In terms of cost, £140 is a absolute steal in my view. For industry training of experts you don't get anything good for less than £300 / day! In my humble opinion your getting £600 worth of experts time for £140.

Books wise there isnt anything out there covering all these topics. We're just finishing one for the blog doing just that and would have been doing stuff at the event but book is taking longer than expected. For those interested I'll post up when its out...

In all honesty i'm really not popping at you and really don't see where all this jealousy bs comes from.Today jumped on me JT for just discussing it and i was simply pointing out that there is people out there who want to make a quick buck off of trends and whatnot.I am not accusing you of this and wish you all the luck in the world with any future projects but i still stand firm on my opinions that research yourself and you can PROBABLY find out the info from other sources without the need to attend events.
I'm sorry if i offended you with my opinions but they are only opinions and wish you luck.I really do hope you help loads of artists get out there and do what they enjoy but i myself will just wait for my lucky break and take it from there.
