If I shave down then stray hairs are left over and there is an incredibly uneven hair length. Shaving upwards has gotten rid of the problem. Plus i've cut myself less shaving upwards than downwards.

shaving upwards and using them gilette 15 blade razors are what cause ingrowing hairs, spots and razor burn

Very cold water on the face post-shave is the key.

Shave with the grain and then against it to get it as smooth as possible, I only shave when my lady comes back from uni though!

Also shaving when you are really high is an amzing feeling!

i shave downwards but i think im doing something wrong, i always have to use multiple razors for one shave which is fucking expensive. even the gilette 5 blade monstrosities dont help, after half of my face they're blunt like a spoon.
my beard isnt even that manly, heck i'm 19 and when i dont shave for a couple weeks i look more like a bum as opposed to osama bin laden (which would be badass).

i think its time for an electric razor once i got the money.

oh and can someone tell me if electric razors/trimmers/whatevetheyrecalled are ballsack-compatible?

I don't shave

just trim my beard with a trimmer to a shorter length then do the sideburns with scissors when they get too bad.

when I used to shave though I always shaved down on my face but would go upwards on my neck a bit.

I shave up and against the grain because I'm not a pussy. I don't think I've really cut myself shaving since I was 15.

How often do you "down" shavers shave anyways? I have to at least 3 or 4 times a week if I'm not growing my facial hair.

Damn, so you actually can grow shit. How do you not shave up then??? Its just so much quicker, and so much better. While shaving down I have to go over every spot at least two or three times to get a close shave.
