Personally I use Virtual DJ with a Numark Omni Control. VDJ has a lot of detractors, but that's mainly down to people using it as an easy option without really knowing how to mix properly (and playing rips with it), rather than issues with the software itself which I've used in clubs many times without issue. It has never EVER crashed on me when doing a set, and the same cannot be said of either Traktor or Ableton.

I used to mix on vinyl for years and years (house and breaks mostly), but I made the switch when I got into dubstep and then it became the case that, as well as not being able to afford the tunes that I wanted, most of the stuff I wanted to play wasn't getting a vinyl release anyway.

brostep uses a lot of digital, probably couse the most of the releases are digital in fact.

I will probably use digital if started djying, but just couse its kinda difficult to have a good collection just staring from zero, and i will like to play unreleased songs and that stuff.
