+ more performer shapes
ADD THE PRO64 LOW PASS emulation that KONTAKT has!!! to the filter selections. that thing is juicy

Implement a aet fiter, or a filter similar to what's in FM8. The one that morphs between different patches. That'd be fucking sick, to say the least.

Better CPU efficiency? Customize-able wavetables. A free lite version lol

i'v never had a problem with cpu tbh

exactly i would like to be able to have a third filter go AFTER all the FX

If anything I think they will add more.
and Brutal Electro 3.
That's probably one of their main selling points by now tbh, sad as it may be.
I would like to be able to edit and import wavetables, and to use it as an effect.
Skinning would be nice too.
Some new filter types.

Modern Talking is pretty nice if you don't use it for Yoi Yoi. It's full of harmonics.

For it to go away

more waves, better control over the performer (like hand drawing or reversing the preset waveforms) audio in would be nice. a cleaner filter, maybe an extra one. perhaps an extra macro slot for each parameter for more macro madness

Definitely don't want to see it more cpu efficient - i can run over 100 instances if i wanted to. I'd like to see it use more cpu, and go the circuit modelling route that a few plugins are doing these days. That way it could combine wavetable with analog emulation filters. Personally i don't like the filters much in massive, and the built in effects aren't too good either.
I'd like to see higher quality effects, more wavetables, the ability to draw in any performer lfo shape, maybe a way to put in custom waveforms. To be honest tho, massive is still one of the best synths i have ever used with regard to ability to shape the sound. I'd just like to see it... dare i say it.. more massive!

If you wanted to do that, putting an insert filter effect on your saw would do the same thing?
Or am I missing something here?

no i mean id like to be able to change the routing of the fx slots so you could for instance have a flanger before your filters

I'd like massive to be able to host other vst's within it's signal path. But that is just like... pie in the sky.
But I would like better envelopes. (and again, a better filter).

pretty much everything in this thread combined. Also an option for visual wavetables kinda like NI Razor.
btw any Razor users here? It's helluva lot cheaper than massive, but there's no demo to tinker with

Oh woops. Last time I used massive I was comparing vsti's and Massive was using twice as much cpu for a simple sine wave. I had forgotten to turn off all the other oscillators, filters, etc. I should probably shutup since I don't use Massive that much haha.... But being able to see and edit/create wavetables would be so dope. Carbon 2.0 haha

lol by the time us lot have finished with massive it'll be like ALL synths and vst's combined.

it will give their programmers something to do....i imagine they would hike the price up by a shilling ot two tho

but the ones that are already in massive i can also automate INSIDE massive- I'm tired of drawing millions of automation curves just to match the sweeps

A nice arpeggiator, customizable wavetables/sample loading function, and a multiband distortion FX à la ohmicide
