The whole point of their business model and the reason they keep their prices down is because they don't have the outlay of a physical shop front to maintain.djekos wrote:Amazon is even planning to open up shops at the moment...

They want to do a "click & collect" thing. They said it would be much easier since they don't just sell small items like books & DVD's anymore.wub wrote:The whole point of their business model and the reason they keep their prices down is because they don't have the outlay of a physical shop front to maintain.djekos wrote:Amazon is even planning to open up shops at the moment...

Well retro game collecting has been thriving for about the last 20 years, plus, when all that tb's worth of game data you dl'd to your xbox 720's harddrive disappears after disc failure and you have to exceed your monthly usage limit just trying to recover a third of it, people will soon be asking 'why no disc?'. It should be cheaper for games in theory but a look at the PSN, with full downloadable games costing more than retail disc's suggests otherwise.jameshk wrote:Oh, cue the. Game disks are better audio/video quality than DLC crew.
hipsters buying old games in charity shops etc...
