My logitech Z-5500 just broke down, so i only use headphones creative fatal1ty headset, it has good clear sound for electronic music.
I own those speakers, but they sit in a box in my room waiting for parties and the like. Getting a proper hi-fi setup has made me realise how crap Logitech systems are quality-wise. They're good at being loud, but that's about it. The sub doesn't even kick in at lower frequencies until the system is pumped up to ear-splitting volumes. I'd definitely recommend you look into getting a hi-fi system rather than just replacing them with more PC speakers.

Running my decks off this old sony hi fi system which is pretty cool...must be from the 80s.

got a set of 75watt technic hi fi speakers plugged into that...

Part of the no sub crew unfortunately - this needs to be fixed.

Be-1ne wrote:search ebay for some cambridge audio amps or nad, nice warm sound. Jpw speakers are nice if you can pick them up.

have a look at what your rooms like. if its a small room you could probably get away with a good pair of bookshelf speakers if its a larger room then its usually about positioning.
Thanks mate, sound advise.

The Nad 356 BEE is a really nice amp, it's got direct a sub output as well which is handy. They can be pretty pricey but check your local gumtree, I got mine for £140.
