you think dirtybird is deep? it's more tech, borderline fidget imo.

deep to me is something that has soul and groove. i think there's a lot of people that get confused with tech house

He did post Eats Everything - The Size, and with Mr Dubloke coming from a dubstep/grime/garage background I think he may enjoy dirtybird as they have a bit more low end generally.

yeah maybe iv labelled what i was looking for wrong again! I love all that stuff with a funkier/ soul groove but I'd play out darker synthier stuff because it would fit in better around what else I play/ what nights i get booked for.

That A1 Bassline track, the Jesse Perez track, and Eats Everything track are sick!

Been getting well into the deep stuff:

They play a bunch of it at the Tube on a Friday for the Motel afterparty, and Minimal Kids at Audio on a Saturday (I think).

Yeh, also filled with absolute jebs on House nights. When I was working there there were 2 different dudes who walked up to the bar, pulled out a massive wad of cash to pay for their drinks, then stuffed it back in the their pocket and start counting out coins . Same vibe with B.Low at Coalition on a Saturday.

Mix of techo and techhouse - but I rate it more than the deep stuff, and it fits sweetly in the middle of low end sets.

From one of my deep house sets: Swirl People, Lawnchair Generals, Pulaski Park, Fizwii, Franck Roger, Bas Amro.
(all funkish / bassline orientated)

I can only take so much Art Department.... a lot of people in the House community feel Hot Creation is the Brostep of house music, I disagree but can see where they are coming from...... Deep House is where its at tho

hot creations and the whole sound coming from labels like them and others is incredibly cheesy imo. i don't like the whole 110 slow house soul clap sound either.

there's a couple of good tracks but on the whole they're bum boys

do you consider Miguel Campbell cheeseball? I get what you mean tho these labels like HC and Crosstown are scewing the meaning and soul from house music from a feeeling to some druged up cheese ball thing, I respect Soul Clap a ton tho they are amazing DJ's who have been grinding for over a decade and get a ton of respect in the industry.
