Yeah in all honesty I don't post on DOA half as much as I used to. It's a little to dramatic sometimes even for me.

However people to explore the grid and alike before they cuss it down!

Cant comment on the DOA board as i have never visited the site before this but i agree that alot of people do get protective over there patch and things "spoiling" there sound theres no denying that.

I was brought up listening to jungle and then drum and bass and found it became far to formulaic you know hard snare here comes the bass dananananananan big bass sound and now its reached a point where im not sure where it can go, somewhere its been before no doubt (1998 dandb's dead media campaign and then it died on its arse again before the whole latin takeover bollocks) im not saying this was all over there where still some great releases by intalex/calibre/high contrast who made some really nice soulful stuff but hearing the nine and valley of the shadows in every dj set and people being suprised by it and demanding a rewind is ridiculous.

Anyways just heard this record and for some strange reason got reminded of deep blue and got really into it lets hope the d and b heads have a resurgence of this style of beat production deeper and darker and harder arent always what you need:
