+1 Dream threadidontreallygiveashit wrote:^ Lucid dreaming is like the best thing ever. Like you said, if you manage to stay with it and fight through the paralysis , and then confirm that you are dreaming, the experience is almost life-like. Except you are aware that you're dreaming and can bend reality.
I guess the paralysis i described earlier is different, you guys actually have you eyes open and can see stuff, when it happens to me/ i do it, my eyes are closed and i know that im stuck in the dream, usually receiving physical trauma, drifting in and out of consciousness. Also, i'm always lying in bed both in the dream and real life, so its hard to differentiate when dipping in and out.
Can we start a dream thread and not make it some gay thing?
Classic sleep paralysis, don't worry too much it happens to everyone sometimes.vishes wrote:I remember a couple of years ago that I sort of 'woke up' in the middle of the night, had my eyes open but couldn't move or speak. It felt as if I was awake but at the same it also sort of didn't... if you know what I mean.
It scared the living fuck out of me though cos I could see these figures in my room, some were standing next to my bed looking down on me and I could hear them talking but couldn't really make out what they were saying exactly.
Then after a while it suddenly stopped and I was really awake this time.
Didn't really sleep for the rest of the night cos I had no idea what the fuck just happened. Luckily it only happened that one time.
Is that sleep paralysis?

Ya, I can't help but feel as if there is something super-natural happening. The demon on my chest is always present. Also, the creepy horse in that picture is fucking scary. Does the demon ride in on it? Maybe thats the rising loudness I always hear.d-T-r wrote:sleep paralysis, lucid dreaming, o.b.e's , astral projection, Kundalini = all on the same continuum.
sleep paralysis is best just to relax and breathe . in the past it's been the route to a few out of body/astral plane short visits but each time it's happened i've stopped myself after like 10 seconds as it feels like im about to float off.
The presence on the chest thing is quite weird too. people have reported that feeling for ages.

When i learned those years ago, i used the site called dreamviews.com and bought/downloaded some books by Stephen LaBerge. Trust me when i say its really, really hard. I stopped doing it for a while and i need to get back into the routine in order to do it. Good Luck, also.Theo Void wrote:This is what I wanna learn to do!idontreallygiveashit wrote:Yeah it happens to me sometimes, this morning in fact. Crazy shit, pretty scary once you realise your just in SP and lying there, waiting to wake up.
I used to do it on purpose for lucid dreaming.
mate it's just neurons firing.Theo Void wrote:Ya, I can't help but feel as if there is something super-natural happening. The demon on my chest is always present. I'm gonna look into all this 4th dimension stuff.
I know. But since I am not an astro-physicist it's still all pretty interesting to me. Also, Inception was f'n awesome!dubfordessert wrote:mate it's just neurons firing.Theo Void wrote:Ya, I can't help but feel as if there is something super-natural happening.
