Petition to change the name to: WE DON'T CARE what it's called this music is good thread.
Seriously, there's quite a lot of emerging styles of music at the moment, why get caught up on what to call it. future bass, bass, trap, whatever. Music.
Let the journo's and the average Joe's argue about what to call it, you're meant to just enjoy it. As soon as you start defining it, you get new talent emerging from Nottingham who think that naming themselves after Sesame Street characters is proper ghetto like. Fuck labelling. Skrillex is a label, is that what you want?

Right I really need some kind of disclamier in the OP ..
Its just being used as a catch-all phrase for this type of music so people that enjoy it can find similar stuff. Its not a big deal.
Thread needs a name!! infact thats why it took me a week to post it as I wasnt sure what to call it "Bass Music" was the other option..
The only people that are making a big deal about its "name" are people that arnt contributing and are just moaning at thin air!
I made a thread for one artist and it pretty much got ignored, me making a thread for R.L Grimes ep youd think "who the fuck is that?" and if its in SNH it could be anything but if its in here people will give it a listen because they are expecting a certain sound.
So please for the love of god just ignore what the threads called and post some music/mixes

In that case, I make music that has bass in it. Would it be cool to share in here?
Sorry for some shamelessness with this post (as it doesn't really fit in here quite exactly, but still a bit), but here's previews for a forthcoming bass heavy hip hop tempo 12" that will be coming out on my label that I'm starting up that is produced by one of my mates.
Just waiting for the cash to come through so I can master it and press it so it's not long till it comes out.
I thought "Future Bass" was that James Blake shite?

It has gotten to a point where everything is so different that it's impossible to categorise it.
Been absolutely vibing to the Clams Casino album, but I wouldn't put it anywhere Hud-Mo in terms of genres.

I think its just my way of finding music I suppose Like I will go
Rustie mix> like that bauuer tune>look him up> listen to his mix> Notice they both use XXX artist > look up XXX artist>hear songs all three used in their mixes and it just goes out from there.
Trying to get Thursday off to go see Lunice on wednesday in london, could pull a sicky but then im seeing him/rusite/hudmo on sunday anyway
