Im really glad to hear it was a good start for Southampton's Dubsteppers, big up to yourself Shafey and all of the crew who put this night on.
Over the water we have the same problem's with bouncers and dickhead venue owners but we are currently addressing this by scoping out as many free party locations as possible. It should save about 90% of the fucking about involved in putiing on a party and its highly unlikely the Isle Of Wight constabulary will be checking Dubstep forum for rave locations!!!
Are you guys planning another night?

If any of you South Coast steppaz are interested....
Sat 8th Dec - Ad Hoc (opp. Walkabout) ill be selecting some nice bass weight for y'all to meditate on
Tues 11th Dec - So Bar (Portswood/Bevois Valley) me n TTB doing a 3hrb2b dubstep n breaks mash up, an some spice n ting... getme.
The Slackers are playing at Soul Cellar on Tuesday night coming (4th) aswell if u wanna get down to some heavy roots.
Check they're myspace or whatever....
My old ska band supported 'em a few times when we were together, great music, nicer people, better vibes!

Just to let the Soton steppas know that What is Dubstep? will be back at The Rhino on Thurs 7th Feb.
Going to be a big line up still.
Will post up more info in the Events section so keep em peeled.
Should have some more info on our Mon show on reactle.

Ez guys i know its not southampton but we've got a new monthly starting in Bournemouth , Launch is this Jan 25th MARY ANNE HOBBS and PLASTICIAN / tehn next month Feb 29th : SKREAM & BENGA
Only 30 min drive .....

there is a lovely rig in southampton, plays roots/dub. 4x 18" bass bins, jah tubby amps etc anyone know it?
dubstep need a good sound system.

yea marlow nights gonna be hot!
Props on the what is dubstep? night, nice to have something regular, despite downstairs in rhino bein pretty poor, really need some better clubs,
Hoping to see a promising rise in the Southampton Dubstep Scene this year shouts all the local promoters and DJ's
Me and my mate Dubfama both live in so'ton, mixing/producing dubstep
Regular house party starting july/august, playing dubstep all-night 1K sound, more info soon, should b fun
