Can you ellaborate on why logic's native plugins are better? Any good examples, like literally EVERY plugin is better or just in general? Anything that ableton doesn;t have whatsoever?

And how long did you use ableton for and what version?

Ableton is a fucking powerhouse... very very great workflow and extremely good interface. I love it. I've recently been working in FL studio on a collab and I just want to pull my hair out and move back into Ableton.

For me an overlooked section of logics plugs are its metering tools, the multimeter i use a lot and also the spectrum analyzer within the channel eq.I know everyone says use your ears and not your eyes but it is still great to get an understanding what you are looking at.
For me Logic lacks decent distortion and a decent filter, the pedal board is no where near as good as guitar rig, ohmicide, izotope trash or camel crusher.logics autofilter is a veryvery good filter plugin sound wise but pales compared to wow, volcano 2 or even the filters in absynth 5 when used as a filter plug.Other than that it has pretty much all you will need(other than synths but that is personal preference)i added more compressors and eq's just for sound colouring but in all honesty i normally only use logics stock.
I only found this out the other day but it even has a stick binaural eq,i haven't used it yet but what i have read is it helps you place elements in different areas within the stereo field, now some of the bigger tech geeks correct e if i'm wrong on that,i read it is meant to be great on drum kit piece placement and will be trying it out on my next track.
Again i have no idea about abletons stock but i know logic is feature packed in this department.

logic's spectrum analyzer is great, its whole EQ is the best one of any of the DAWs imo

short answer: yes, get logic
long answer: yes, get logic

Nice thing about Logic is you have every tool you could possibly need right in front of you. Sure, you can buy better filters and stuff but the stuff you get with it is pretty damn good.

Not to mention the bit crusher and phase distortion are fantastic. Throw that phase distortion on a reese and it blows the fuck up. Was having so much fun with that earlier until I realized my basslines were getting way too ridiculously mangled to be used for anything.

Learn some key combos right away... Command+Option lets you drag+copy plugins between channel strips. Command+drag lets you drag them around. Option click on a plugin in a channel strip to bypass it. Saves you loads of time lol.

If you want to make huge sampler instruments really fast just load 128 drum samples onto one audio track from your browser. Select them all, right click, create new EXS instrument. BOOM, 128 drum samples at your fingertips. Make sure you save the EXS instrument though. I did this with a few vengeance packs and now I have every drum sample I could possibly want right at my fingertips.

Hope you like it! : )
