Check out Tweak Bench Ritual. It's a bass synth that is fat as all get out. It's very simple but can create a nice variety of sounds due to its delay, LFO and envelope modulation. The mod map is pretty comprehensive for the simplicity of the thing. Its also free!!!! I use it more than any other synth and I've got Massive, Albino, FM8 and more.

Looks too simple IMO. But if that's your preference, I'm not in any place to judge.

Hamvst and DUBTURBO are definitely essential, at least they are for me. Skrillex and Flux Pavillion use them and they are the two most popular "dubstep" producers today. You can be as good as them in like a month if you put in enough work.

Yeah it's simple. But it's got a nice unique sound to it. I'd also say that Sugarbytes' multieffects Turnado, artillery, and Effectrix are great!!! Very dynamic!

Ahhh, yeah I've got the NSFW version as well...Jack Dark has got a f^cked up imagination
Dual Thrashers is also good, very similar in terms of what it does to the signal.

Perky is alright, not as immediately useful as some of the others in the range, but I used it to add pad colouration here and it did what I was listening for.

Best advice I've seen in this thread, hands down.
