Theyre names of my own tracks. And Enter Shikari are friends of mine and are the band that got me into electronics a long time ago. I also have insomnia, aspergers syndrome, ADHD and some others so feeling like an alien definitely inspires me to make sounds
I know one of the lads from ES a bit. One of their mums used to work for my mum
Sweet band. I also have insomnia, and sleep apena, hence the 5 am walks. It's a bitch but it's when I'm most creative.
big ups the inadequate sleep crew, im another works best at 5am guy.for some reason i seem to have so many more ideas at night. weed plays a big part to, and when i had depression id never been as creative or my tracks have never been as musical since
^ this, minus the weed tho... I don't smoke

Guys, I think you have a drug problem.
I get inspired when I try a new approach.
These techniques/approaches can be from an article, something here at a forum, a synth function, etc.

Inspiration isn't something you go out of your way to find. When you try to find inspiration, you don't find it. You can only let it come to you. And even the act of making techniques for finding inspiration puts you in technique mode. When you make techniques, you start doing things the same. When you start doing things the same, you stop using inspiration, rather you just re-use what your other tunes already sound like. This is the easy path, but it leads to nowhere. Be Passive. Don't Search For Inspiration.

I try to be assertive in all areas of my life. If I were feeling uninspired, I would try some creative exercises.

listening to old bargin bin records. reading interviews with people i look up to, sometimes. trying to loop these drum breaks i've sampled, and recently i've discovered the easiest way to get shit that sounds like real drum fills, or those venetian snares/aphex twin buzzing drums is with beat repeat. send output to another audio track/record/chop/rearrange. Then the MUSIC happens haha. that's where the inspiration comes in hehe.

Sour Diesel, meditating and yoga , and listening to amazing producers like Phutureprimitive, Kalya Scintilla, Dessert Dwellers, BLUETECH, and watching tutorials on making synths and sound design and lastly playing percussion, Tabla, conga, djembe, etc.

Well, there are a few ways I find inspiration.
Usually, I either get an idea while watching a movie, playing a game, or just randomly recording shit.
When I get a block, I try to listen to listen to alot of music, but that usually never works, for some reason. lol
