old school meaning from years back
and considering both tracks came out in 1995 - 12 years ago
i say it qualifies
anyway its all semantics, its not important

Well, its something I did for the fun of it... didnt mean to offend anyone. It is old school west coast hip hop, and a damn fun song. So far everyone whos heard it has dug it (and asked for rewinds on the dancefloor) so you are in the minority with your opinion, but you are entitled to it.
That said, being that youre not from Cali, I dont think you can make any rules about who can sample what from any point on. In fact, one of my favorite things about dubstep is the multitude of places it draws its inspiriation from. West coast hip hop is music I grew up with, and dubstep is what Im into now, so its only natural that I put the two together, even if only for fun. In the future, if you would like to say something critical about the production in a contructive way, it will be welcomed, but dont go making rules about dubstep, especially about what I or any other west coast producer can and cannot sample or do with our music.
Now, back to the lab to finish the Regulators remix...
Oh yeah, 320s of California Love will be available soon...

oh come now don't take me so seriously with the rules - its jokes.. I do think that for the amount of positive feedback this tune got I would hear more than some accapella juggling over a slow break... I guess I'm just being critical and not constructive at all - peace to the regulators remix
@ horse - good one, that was laughs
@ tom edison - eh whatever mate, you stepped into an A/B conversation... C yourself away from quoting my posts
