Ah right I get that. If you buy wavs or flac you can convert to aiff.. I buy FLAC pretty much exclusively then drop the flacs into XLD to have AIFF output. All the tags convert along with the album art being written to the aiff if you want.

Adding the album art and tags sounds like a nuisance to me, I don't mind paying extra because it makes everything a lot easier for me.

it's all automatic but I can see why you'd want to keep it simple.

When I bought wavs there were no tags on them at all, just the file name. Perhaps FLAC files are different (Beatport don't sell them)
